Working Capital and Trade Finance Lender
​ExWorks Capital, LLC (EWC) is a specialty finance company established in 2013 that offers export/import financing solutions to U.S. and qualified international borrowers. It is also a delegated authority lender for asset-based loans supporting U.S. exports using SBA or EXIM Bank guarantees. For companies that wish to outsource their export activities, EWC can buy the product as a domestic sale and then handle international logistic and payment issues. For companies that need receivables and inventory financing for their exports, or have an ongoing business and need working capital to service overseas accounts, EWC can lend to the U.S. exporter. Development Fund for Geothermal Power in Latin America
The German government's KfW Development Bank in conjunction with the European Union launched GDF, a €55 million fund for Latin America to focus on early stage geothermal power development. GDF is managed by IDA Fund Management a consortium of Interlink Capital Strategies (www.interlinkdc.com), a Washington, DC-based management consulting firm and financial advisor well known in the Export Credit Agency (ECA) and Development Finance Insitution (DFI) space, Dewhurst Group, LLC (www.dewhurstgroup.us), a Washington, DC-based geothermal exploration and development company with offices in Latin America, and Chris McCormick, a partner with Ambata Capital, an investment and advisory firm focused on sustainability and alternative energy.  GDF’s goal is to be a catalyst to 350 MW of installed geothermal power capacity in Latin America over the next ten years. GDF achieves this by providing feasibility study funding of as much as €600,000 and exploratory drilling funding for up to €5.8 million per project to qualified applicants in Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala.
