Ms. Leon works with Interlink as an in-house legal advisor and business partner. She has extensive legal experience in regulatory, government affairs and commercial law in Latin America. Her practice of law in Colombia, South America, included working as a counsel for the Attorney General’s Office and National Controller’s office. From 1995 to 1996, Ms. Leon served as the Mayor of Usaquén, Bogota. Previously, Ms. Leon worked with the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins, a Washington-based international law firm, as well as with a multinational telecom provider as an in-house policy advisor in the areas of regulatory and government affairs. She has provided legal consulting services, supporting transactional and corporate work of companies doing business in Latin America. Ms. Leon is admitted to the bars of Colombia and the State of New York.
