Mr. Hanson has 27 years experience post MBA leading and advising strategy, structuring and financing investments in infrastructure and related businesses worldwide. For US Fortune 200 and infrastructure focused private equity companies, he has led investment missions, structured and executed transactions, business formations and operating management companies, and has advised and structured national government PPP deals – two of which were the country’s first national major infrastructure PPP. Mr. Hanson is experienced at international project financing, global equity and debt, ECA and DFI investment supports, also bilateral supports for project development. Over the last 12 years, he has worked with OPIC, ExIm, USAID, USTDA, KfW, AfD, UKEF, JBIC, Islamic Development Bank and global investment and commercial banks to process and structure infrastructure transactions in emerging markets. Mr. Hanson has advanced buy- and sell-side investor interests in over $7 billion transaction value in assets in energy and infrastructure, process industry and industrial real estate in Western and Eastern Europe, ME, Asia, Africa and N. America. He has worked in residence with diplomatic status in senior high profile advisory roles for US government policy and development in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kosovo. Mr. Hanson holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from University of Colorado and MBA in Finance from George Washington University.
