Originally from Philadelphia, Matt attended St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, an all-male Jesuit high school, where he was a coxswain on the rowing team for four years and tied for first in his class. His interest in finance and economics led him to Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he completed majors in Finance and International Political Economy and Business and a minor in Economics. Matt’s studies in international business also included a semester at the Danish Institute of Study Abroad (DIS) in Copenhagen, where he studied European startup companies, international finance, and development economics. This coming year, he will begin his career as an investment banking analyst in the Technology Group at RBC Capital Markets in New York. In the future, Matt is interested in pursuing internationally-focused positions in finance or economics.
