![]() Interlink welcomes Ignacio De Leon, Troy Fuhriman, and Tom Geurts to the Interlink Team this month! Ignacio De Leon is a business incubator expert and innovation policy specialist with multi-regional experience on competition policy and regulatory reform strategies, in collaborative platforms and blockchain. In addition to several director positions of several companies, he has also worked at the Inter-American Development bank as the Lead Private Sector Development Specialist. We look forward to the international and entrepreneurial expertise he will bring to the Interlink team.
Troy Fuhriman is an expert in structured finance, international transactions and a wide array of business and government regulatory matters. He has acted in key senior roles within the Office of Export Finance as well as within the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Additionally, he has negotiated, documented and closed billions of dollars of complex structured finance transactions. He is currently an Associate Professor of Law at Kyungpook National University in South Korea. Mr. Fuhriman will be a great asset to Interlink with his international presence and success in complex finance transactions. Tom Geurts brings an extensive background of Real Estate and Finances, with an emphasis on managing international portfolios. He was one of the founding partners of Cadence Capital Group, a boutique real estate capital advisory and investment management firm and currently is a professor at George Washington Univesity teaching Finance and Real Estate, as well as an Honorary Professorship awarded by University of Berlin (Germany). He also teaches each year one seminar for the Masters of Real Estate program at the University of Amsterdam and two for the Technical University of Berlin. He has given guest lectures at a number of other universities, including five overseas.
